Taking the form of a single sentence Desire Notes attempts to articulate notions of sexual longing and sensuality, language is reduced to its most basic, brutal and candid form. Desire is challenging not only to claim openly but also to acknowledge privately: there are lies we tell to ourselves. The phrases have been revised and reduced to the minimum amount of words needed, eliminating all components other than the words and their placement. They aim to capture desire as a fleeting reverie, prior to being reformed by speech.
